Our Roasting Process
Green beans are shipped from their country of origin to our roasting facility in Seattle. Once an order is placed, our Master Roaster carefully roasts each origin separately before blending to create the perfect flavor profile.
Our roasting is still a refined art form
Our coffees are small-batch roasted to their optimal roast profile. Our single origin coffees, as well as signature blends, are roasted to a medium or dark finish, never burnt or over-roasted. At Saxbys Coffee, roasting is still a refined art form. There are no shortcuts in our traditional European roasting process.
Breakfast Blend – An excellent, bright coffee with an extremely smooth finish.
Colombian Blend – Consistently smooth with a balanced acidity and sweet finish.
Saxbys Signature Blend – Tremendous flavor and balanced acidity. The perfect blend of several of the world’s finest single origin coffees.
Saxbys Decaf Signature Blend – Tremendous flavor and balanced acidity. The perfect decaffeinated blend of several of the world’s finest single origin coffees.
Espresso – A creamy, rich full-flavored coffee without a sharp or tart finish.
Decaf Espresso – A creamy, rich, full-flavored coffee without a sharp or tart finish.
Sumatra – Heavy body with a rich, concentrated earthy flavor combined with a uniquely smooth finish.
French Roast – A balanced blend of East African, Central and South American beans. Smooth and darkly roasted. Never tart or sharp.
