Giving Tuesday

It’s no secret that we love giving, so what better time to reflect on that than on Giving Tuesday.  

World Giving Day or #GivingTuesday, is recognized on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to kick off the charitable holiday season. It started five years ago to help harness the power of social media and people’s generosity to make a difference in the community.

At Saxbys, we’ve used our Thrive water bottles as a platform for giving in all of our cafés by making a 10 cent donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters with each bottle sold. We firmly believe that we are a community serving our community, and BBBS is a proud community-driven organization that’s been making an impact for over 100 years.

What’s more, our fearless leader and CEO, Nick Bayer, has been a Big Brother in Philadelphia for several years and serves on the Board of Directors in the Independence Region. Last year, our Thrive campaign raised $15,000 for BBBS. We’re proud of our partnership and our ability to serve the community!
